The Grimme Multi-Sep Separator

The Multi-Sep consists of four pairs of rollers, items 1,2,3,4 shown to the right. Item 5 is the haulm extraction roller.

With a double Multi-Sep the second unit is the same as the first for setting, etc.

The drive is hydraulic to all 4 pairs of rollers and the speed is controlled from the control box in the tractor cab.

The small black roller (plain roller) running next to the larger spiral roller has in addition a separate speed control. The position of the plain rollers is adjustable for height and distance from the spiral segment rollers for varying conditions.

The whole unit can be angled up or down to aid in separation and the rollers can be contra rotating for extraction or rotating the same way to transfer the crop . 

There is also a choice of spiral segment rollers for different levels of separation:

• 4 lip - 8mm scroll

• 3 lip - 10mm scroll

• 3 lip - 20mm scrol
